Do you believe that all citizens have adequate access to legal help and the legal system? If not, what can be done to provide wider and better access?

Financial inequities effect people's access to legal help and the legal system. Public defenders and pro bono attorneys are to be commended for their
professionalism, dedication and commitment. Additional funding is required to equalize the financial disparities.
What do you perceive as the greatest obstacles to justice, if any?
Answer from Carol Elswick:
In addition to the financial inequities discussed above, our greatest obstacle to justice, are our biases. As a society, we all have work to do.
